The wait is finally over! The much-awaited sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise is officially confirmed. The film, titled Pushpa: The Rule, will be released on August 15, 2024, coinciding with India’s Independence Day.
The announcement was made by the film’s stars, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, along with director Sukumar. The film’s production company, Mythri Movie Makers, also shared the news on social media.
Pushpa: The Rule will see Allu Arjun reprise his role as Pushpa Raj, a coolie who becomes a sandalwood smuggler. The film is expected to be a continuation of the first part, with Pushpa Raj facing off against new enemies and challenges.
The film is currently in the final stages of production. The makers have already completed a major portion of the shooting and are currently shooting the remaining portions.
