The trailer opens with a bloody scene that seems to be the aftermath of the Thanedd Ball, where Geralt and Yennefer were betrayed by their fellow mages. Yennefer tells Ciri that she has searched for her for so long, and that they will never be apart, no matter where she goes.

We then see Ciri in various locations, including a snowy forest, a desert, and a castle. She seems to be on a quest to discover her true power and heritage, as she is haunted by visions of her parents and the Wild Hunt.

Geralt, meanwhile, is busy fighting monsters, soldiers, and even a dragon. He also has a confrontation with Vilgefortz (Mahesh Jadu), the leader of the mages who turned against him. It looks like Geralt will have to make some tough choices and sacrifices to protect Ciri and the Continent.
