Malayalam superstar Mammootty has surprised his fans with his new look reportedly for his upcoming horror thriller Bramayugam.
Bramayugam is written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan, who made his debut with the critically acclaimed film Bhoothakalam. The film is produced by Night Shift Studios, which has backed several successful projects in Tamil and Hindi, such as Vikram Vedha, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, and Game Over. Bramayugam will be released in Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi languages.
According to the makers, Bramayugam is a rooted story set in the dark ages of Kerala, and will feature Mammootty in a never-seen-before avatar. The film also stars Arjun Ashokan and Siddharth Bharathan in pivotal roles. The shooting of the film began on Thursday in Kochi and will continue in Ottapalam.
