Loki Season 2: Trailer, Release Date, Cast, and Everything You Need to Know

Marvel Studios has released the first full trailer for Loki season 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the hit Disney+ series that follows the God of Mischief as he navigates the multiverse. The trailer reveals that Loki (Tom Hiddleston) will team up with Mobius (Owen Wilson), Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku), and other members of the Time Variance Authority (TVA) to find Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), who unleashed chaos across the timelines by killing He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors) in the season 1 finale.

The trailer also teases the return of Majors as Kang the Conqueror, one of the most powerful and dangerous villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Kang is set to appear in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which will explore the quantum realm and its connection to the multiverse. Loki season 2 will also introduce Ke Huy Quan, best known for his roles in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and The Goonies, as a new character whose identity is yet to be revealed.

Loki season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on October 6, 2023, and will consist of six episodes. The show is part of Phase Five of the MCU, which will feature more stories involving alternate realities and dimensions. Loki season 2 will also act as a narrative thread throughout the Multiverse Saga, which will span across several films and TV shows such as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Spider-Man: No Way Home, She-Hulk, What If…?, and more.
