The much-awaited audio launch event of Vijay’s upcoming film Leo, which was supposed to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. The event will now be held at the Nehru Stadium in Chennai on September 15, 2023. This was announced by the official Twitter handle of Tinsel Stories, a popular entertainment portal.
Leo is an action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who previously collaborated with Vijay on the blockbuster Master (2021). The film stars Vijay and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles, along with Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan and Mysskin in supporting roles. The film is produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio and co-produced by Jagadish Palanisamy, Vijay’s manager.
The film’s first look poster was released on February 3, 2023, revealing the title and the tagline “Bloody Sweet”. The poster featured Vijay holding a gun and a lollipop in his hands, with blood splattered on his face and clothes. The poster received a positive response from the fans and the media, who praised the stylish and intriguing look of the film.
