The much-awaited first look of Suriya’s upcoming film Kanguva was unveiled today and it has left the fans in awe. The poster shows Suriya in a warrior avatar, holding a sword, with a fierce expression on his face riding the horse. The background is filled with fire and smoke, creating a stunning visual impact. The film is directed by Siva and produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja under the banner of Studio Green.
Kanguva is said to be a historical fantasy film with a lot of heroism and action. In a recent interview, producer K.E. Gnanavel Raja revealed some interesting details about the film. He said that the film is 20% history and 80% fantasy, and it has a lot of elements like culture, spirituality and superstition. He also clarified that the film is not related to Velapari, another historical film that Vetrimaaran is working on.
The producer also praised the VFX work in the film, saying that it is on par with Hollywood standards. He said that the scale of the film is really huge and that’s why they planned to release it in 10 languages for a wider reach. He added that the film is a pure theatrical experience and they wanted to present it in the best version possible. So they decided to make it in 3D format.
Kanguva is expected to hit the screens next year and it has a stellar star cast including Suriya, Aishwarya Rajesh, Prakash Raj, Samuthirakani, Saranya Ponvannan and others. The music is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar and the cinematography is by R. Velraj.
