T-Series, one of the leading Bollywood production houses, is venturing into the digital space with its first web series, Kaala. The crime thriller, created and directed by Bejoy Nambiar, will stream exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar later this year.
Kaala features a stellar cast of Avinash Tiwary, Rohan Vinod Mehra, Nivetha Pethuraj, Taher Shabbir and Hiten Tejwani. The series revolves around an Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer who is on a mission to crack a case that involves criminal masterminds, power, revenge and plenty of action.
Nambiar, who is known for his stylish and edgy films like Shaitan, David and Wazir, is also producing Kaala with T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The trio had previously collaborated on the 2016 film Wazir, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar.
