Shah Rukh Khan Turns Choreographer for Jawan, Wins Hearts with His Retro Dance Moves

Shah Rukh Khan, the king of Bollywood, has once again proved his versatility and charisma by choreographing his own dance moves for his upcoming film Jawan. The actor, who plays a ruthless gangster in the action thriller, surprised everyone by grooving to the classic Tamil song Paattu Paadava in one of the scenes.

The song, which was originally sung by P. Susheela for the 1967 film Thillana Mohanambal, has been recreated by composer A.R. Rahman for Jawan. The catchy tune and the energetic lyrics perfectly match SRK’s character, who is seen celebrating his victory over his rivals.

But what makes the scene even more memorable is the way SRK dances to the song, with his own improvised steps that capture the essence of his role. The actor, who is known for his romantic and graceful moves in his previous films, has shown a different side of his talent by creating a dance style that is menacing, quirky and fun at the same time.

The dance moves have become an instant hit among the fans and the audiences, who have taken to social media to praise SRK’s creativity and express their admiration for him. The steps have also inspired many memes and videos, where people are seen imitating SRK’s moves and adding their own twists to them.

SRK has revealed that he came up with the dance moves on the spot, without any rehearsal or guidance from a choreographer. He said that he wanted to do something different and spontaneous for the scene, and he just followed his instincts and the mood of the song.

“I wanted to do something that would suit my character and the situation. I didn’t want to do a typical dance number that would look out of place. I just listened to the song and felt the rhythm and the energy. I thought of some steps that would reflect my character’s attitude and personality. I didn’t rehearse or plan anything. I just did what came naturally to me,” SRK said in an interview.

The actor also thanked A.R. Rahman for giving him such a wonderful song to dance to, and P. Susheela for her legendary voice that added more charm to the song. He also expressed his gratitude to his co-stars and director for supporting him and appreciating his dance moves.

Jawan, directed by Atlee Kumar, is one of the most awaited films of the year, as it marks SRK’s comeback after a hiatus of three years. The film also stars Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. The film is slated to release on Diwali this year.
