Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan, who has also made a mark in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films, has announced his next project, which is titled as Goli. The film will be directed by Karthikeyan Velappan, who was an assistant to Atlee in films like Raja Rani and Theri.
The film will also feature Kalyani Priyadarshan, the daughter of veteran director Priyadarshan, as one of the female leads. The music for the film will be composed by GV Prakash Kumar, who has delivered many hit albums in Tamil and Telugu cinema.
Goli will be a big budget bilingual film, which will be simultaneously made in Tamil and Malayalam languages. The film will be produced by Zee Studios and Dulquer Salmaan’s own banner Wayfarer Films. The film is expected to go on floors soon and will be shot in various locations across India. The makers have not revealed much details about the plot or the genre of the film, but have promised that it will be a unique and entertaining experience for the audience.
Goli will mark the second collaboration between Dulquer Salmaan and Kalyani Priyadarshan, after they worked together Varane Aavashyamund, a comedy drama also starring Suresh Gopi and Shobhana. Film was a critical and commercial success and won several awards.
Dulquer Salmaan is currently awaiting the release of his Malayalam film King Of Kotha. Goli is expected to release in 2023 and will be one of the most anticipated films of Dulquer Salmaan.
