Welcome 3, the third instalment of the hit comedy franchise Welcome, is all set to roll in the second half of 2022. The film will feature the return of Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal in their iconic roles, along with some new additions to the star cast. According to sources, Jacqueline Fernandez and Disha Patani have joined Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi in the film, which will be directed by a new director.
The actors along with the director and producer Firoz Nadiadwala did a photoshoot last week at Empire Studio to announce the film. The photoshoot was kept under wraps to maintain the surprise element for the fans. The film will be an action-comedy with a lot of twists and turns. The makers are planning to shoot the film in exotic locations like New York, Dubai and London.
Welcome 3 will mark the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez after Housefull 3 and Bachchan Pandey. It will also be the first time that Disha Patani will share screen space with Akshay Kumar. Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi, who have worked together in the Munna Bhai series, will also bring their comic timing to the film. The film is expected to release in 2023.
