Vijay, one of the most popular actors in Tamil cinema, has officially announced his next film with the working title of Thalapathy 68. The film will be directed by Venkat Prabhu, who is known for his comedy and action films. The film will be produced by AGS Entertainment, which had earlier collaborated with Vijay for the blockbuster Bigil (2019). The music for the film will be composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is reuniting with Vijay after 20 years.
The film has a huge star cast that includes Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Amir, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Priyanka Arul Mohan and Yogi Babu.
