Dunki, the much-awaited film starring Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, has wrapped up its shooting and is now in the post-production phase. The film, which is based on the illegal immigration with the slice of life entertainer.
According to Pinkvilla, the editing of the film is currently going on by Hirani himself, who is known for his meticulous and flawless editing skills. Hirani has previously edited his own films like 3 Idiots, PK, and Sanju, which were all blockbuster hits.
The source also revealed that the film has already undergone a test screening and received highly positive reviews from the select audience.
Dunki is slated to release on December 21, 2023, one day earlier than its domestic release in India. The makers have decided to go for a worldwide promotion instead of focusing on the South Indian market, where Jawan has a huge fan following.
The film will have a four-day opening weekend, which will help it to rake in big numbers at the box office. Dunki is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Jio Studios, and Rajkumar Hirani Films. The film also stars Anushka Sharma, Boman Irani, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles.
