After the success of Thallumaala, director Khalid Rahman is gearing up for his next project, which will feature Naslen and Lukman in the lead roles. The film, which is yet to be titled, is produced by Vishnu Venu, who has backed films like Kappela and Elaveezha Poonchira.
According to sources, the film will be an action-packed entertainer on the lines of Thallumaala, which was a blockbuster hit in 2022. The film starred Tovino Thomas, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Shine Tom Chacko in the lead roles and was praised for its thrilling plot, engaging narration and stunning action sequences.
Lukman, who were part of Thallumaala, have been roped in to play the main protagonists in the film. Naslen, who made his debut with Thanneer Mathan Dhinangal, has two more films in his kitty – I Am Kathalan, directed by Girish AD, and a rom-com produced by Bhavana Studios. Lukman, who rose to fame with Kumbalangi Nights, has also signed up for Turkish Tharkkam with Sunny Wayne and Anchakkallakokkan, directed by Ullas Chemban.
The film is expected to hit the screens in 2024 and makers are yet to reveal the rest of the cast and crew details. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project.
